Back Office Applications

Back office applications are used by the organization to aid internal workers with tracking and measuring what the business is doing.  Some examples include:

  • Inventory Management - Understanding where inventory is helps keep locations known as well what parts are in transit.
  • Time Keeping - Tracking time is important for job costing. Match time to a task to a project.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) - Tracking and planning activities with your customers. Sales campaigns, support, etc.
  • MRP/MRP II - Manufacturing planning
  • ERP - Enterprise planning for multiple industries.
